Markes Ices:Ice Cream Vans:New Homebase Store Open:Aylesford Kent
Markes Ices join forces with KM FM radio to help promote the New Homebase store
opening Aylesford.
After an extensive fire that caused damage resulting in the Homebase superstore at Aylesford being closed for almost a year, Homebase management contacted Markes Ices to help customers enjoy the grand opening of the new store. Along with Km FM appearances by the original Dulux dog (who’s real name happens to be Spud), and Pepper Pig a fun day was had by all.

Corporate Branding / Ice Cream van Hire / London:Ice Cream Vans for Corporate Hire
Corporate Branding / Ice Cream van Hire / London:Ice Cream Vans for Corporate Hire
Markes Ices could be seen around London this week showing a good example of how branded ice cream vans can help get your message across.
The No to AV Vote campaign hired Markes Ices during the run up to voting day to promote their message along with offering ice creams to help the general public understand the difference between first past the post and the AV system.Markes Ices offered each customer a first past the post or av ice cream and then asked which topping sauce they had a preference to.If a first past the post ice cream was requested the customer was given their first topping preference, however if they opted for an AV ice cream a combination of toppings were added and this resulted in the customer not always getting their first choice as other customers choices were added or replaced as well.
Contact Markes Ices today to see how we can help get YOUR message across.

ICE CREAM VAN HIRE / WEDDINGS / WEDDING HIRE / ICE CREAM VANS IN KENT / LONDON
WARNING!!It disappoints us greatly to have to warn future Bride and Grooms Marke’s Ices get far too many calls last minute from distraught Bride and Grooms where ice cream operators have contacted them to cancel. This usually stems in our opinion from quoting too cheaply and taking a more profitable booking when given the opportunity.
This is your special day so please consider this when comparing quotes. Marke’s Ices always send attached to our quote our terms and conditions of hire where we clearly state our responsibility to you.
PLEASE make sure which ever company you decide to use you get it clearly defined that your booking is secure and the company takes full responsibility to supply a replacement vehicle or hire in another company in the event of mechanical breakdown/staff sickness etc etc.
We are very proud to say we have never let a client down on a booking.

Why is it called a 99 ice cream / Cadbury Flake
An Ice Cream served in a cone with a Flake 99 is the UK's favourite ice cream. In the days of the monarchy in Italy the King had an elite guard consisting of 99 soldiers. Subsequently anything really special or first class was known as "99". When Cadbury launched its small Flake for ice creams in 1930, the UK ice cream industry was dominated by ex-pat Italians. So, to appeal to Italians we called our superb Flake a "99".
Cadbury Flake….the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate
A moment with Cadbury Flake is a moment of pure indulgence, the most sensual of chocolate experiences. That’s because Cadbury Flake is made from the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate.
Unique from the start….
Flake’s deliciously unique texture was inspired by a Cadbury employee back in 1920. His job was to pour chocolate into moulds. One day he noticed that excess chocolate spilled over the tops of the moulds and folded down into a stream of chocolate. The Flake product was created as the texture had many thin layers of chocolate and possessed the irresistible crumbly and flaky texture. And so the Cadbury Flake brand was born.
Flake is unique. Like fingerprints or snowflakes, no two Flake chocolate bars are the same. Flake literally ‘broke the mould’!
Iconic Advertising for an Iconic Brand
The ‘Flake Girl’ adverts are among the most famous and memorable of all time. 2007 saw the exciting return of the Flake Girl to UK screens. The advert retains the iconic theme and music, celebrating the unique way of eating Cadbury Flake and the Flake moment experience
