As the season draws to a close Markes Ices say good bye to a loved and trusted member of the team.Updating the fleet with a new long wheel base event ice cream van due to be delivered during December its time to offer for sale one of our much loved team members that has given fantastic service to many events.

It is our company policy to only replace all equipment with genuine WHITBY MORRISON parts. All Ice Cream machinery on all our vans is serviced each spring by WHITBY MORRISON approved engineer.

This is a full cowl,double skinned interior with no external body damage or rust. Resprayed 2010 and has power steering. Heavy duty rear leaf springs new this season.

New Ice Cream Van Is On It's Way.

As we enter the closed season Markes Ices has sold on Dianes Ice cream van to an operator in Edmonton who purchased the ice cream van for his Daughter to start her new career. We wish them all the best, and we know with the quality of ice cream machinery in Di’s van she has a very worry free and good start. We have ordered a new ice cream van for Diane and should arrive in the next few weeks.Then the ice cream van will be sent off to be sprayed in our now familiar Purple and yellow colours, after this the ice cream van will go to the vinyl shop to have our name, address, and logo’s placed all over. We have updated the fleet to maintain our very high standards and quality assurance for our clients. The new show ice cream van is half as long again as our others and Diane is looking forward to the extra space, fridges and serving area. we have ordered a new harmony 64 chime system so our very well known chime “The Yellow Rose Of Texas” will be heard as before on Dianes round. The new ice cream van is designed with the sinks at the rear of the serving area leaving the front to have a second passenger seat so we can send a second member of staff to large events. Diane says “I am looking forward to working in the new ice cream van and for our customers all over Kent and London to see it.”
