Markes Ices familiar yellow and purple ice cream vans will be seen out on the streets of Kent this Saturday 21st January starting hopefully a warm sunny 2012 event season.Company Director Robert said “if the current bookings and enquiries through January are anything to go by the summer is going to be very busy,added to the usual event season will be street parties and celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee andthemed 2012 London Olympic events.Key dates are already being booked up very early”.

Markes Ices have the facility to offer selected ice cream vans fitted with the latest Electric Motor Drive (EMD) a fantastic development from the DDS. It allows the operation of the van model soft ice cream machine in locations where the vehicles engine would be inappropriate. On site power allows the EMD to operate the soft ice cream machine in specialist locations such as an indoor event’s or highly sensitive emission locations.
